Abstract

The author addresses the question of the necessity of some changes in the paradigm of scientific methods of teaching foreign languages, the methodological basis of which at the present stage of its development became Linguodidactics . Central concept of linguistics is the concept of " linguistic identity ", which due to the specifics of the discipline "Methods of teaching foreign languages " is transformed into the concept of " secondary linguistic identity ," which is necessary for the formation of language acquisition not only as a language code , but also the integration of the individual in studying the language linguistic picture of the world of its speakers .
