The purpose - to form an idea of ​​the main issues of self-organization, educational activities in higher education; features of the profession of speech therapist in modern realities; to form a system of special knowledge in the field of leadership-service. Tasks of the discipline According to the Educational-professional program 016.00.01 Speech therapy training for the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in the specialty 016 Special education, the discipline "University Studies" provides the formation of the following general and professional competencies:  LC 1 Worldview. Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of the profession; knowledge of basic theories, concepts, doctrines that form the scientific picture of the world; ability to defend their own strategies of professional activity.  Civil Code 2 Civil. Ability to act with social responsibility and civic consciousness; ability to apply procedures and technologies to protect the rights and freedoms of their own and other citizens, including individuals with disabilities and special educational needs that comply with current legislation of Ukraine.  LC 3 Communicative. Ability to communicate orally and in writing in the native language. Ability to communicate in a second (foreign) language. Ability to establish professional and pedagogical communication.  LC 4 Interpersonal interaction. Ability to work in a team; ability to effectively interact and coordinate with management, colleagues, children and their parents. Ability to use emotional intelligence in professional situations.  LC 5 Information and communication. Ability to find, process and analyze information from a variety of sources to address professional issues. Ability to use modern means of information and computer technology to solve correctional and communicative-speech problems in social and professional activities.  ZK 6 Creative. Ability to generate new ideas, be creative in solving professional problems.  LC 9 Self-education. Ability to learn and self-learn. Focus on the disclosure of personal potential and self-realization. Striving for personal and professional leadership and success.  FC 1 Organizational. Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, monitor and evaluate their own professional activities. Ability to cognitive flexibility: situational (immediate) problem solving, taking into account new (current) conditions and circumstances for decision-making, the ability to overcome stereotypical thinking.  FC 13 Logo-correction. Ability to select methods and technologies for the correction of psychomotor and speech development of children with severe speech disorders.  FC 14 Competence in the field of inclusive education. Possession of basic knowledge and understanding of basic values, concepts and theories of inclusive education. Possession of skills that enable the ability to provide quality inclusive education.
