Abstract
Objective: to train highly qualified competitive specialists in the field of professional support and assistance to people with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), able to plan, develop and implement individualized intervention strategies aimed at improving the quality of life of these people, their successful self-realization in education and social life. Tasks: 1) to form general competencies: worldview (ideas about the factors of successful human life, conditions and content of consistent assistance to persons with functional disabilities, which allows their socialization and self-realization in society); civil (knowledge of the best traditions and experience of correctional and developmental theory and practice in Ukraine); interpersonal interaction (development of the ability to build relationships with a child who has ASD, family members, colleagues; the ability to work in a team); information and communication (the ability to search in collaboration with other students and teachers; the ability to present the results of theoretical and practical research); creative (ability to make decisions in a situation of uncertainty, go beyond stereotypes about correctional and developmental work with autistic children and gain new experience based on the uniqueness of the existing situation); analytical (ability to analyze theoretical sources, to systematize and generalize, comparative research; to conduct 4 monitoring the dynamics of positive changes in practice; reflect on what is happening, draw conclusions, plan and forecast new activities); self-educational (be able to organize and implement the search for new conditions to improve their own theoretical and practical skills); 2) to form professional competencies: organizational (ability to plan correctional and developmental classes, flexibly engage in various activities in accordance with the needs of the child; self-management skills, and conducting certain classes); theoretical and methodological to master modern knowledge, covering the principles of correctional and developmental activities and provide a systematic approach to its implementation; possession of: a) knowledge of the conditions and ways of implementing correctional and developmental activities for children with ASD); psychological and pedagogical (mastering the system of special knowledge and skills that allow: to carry out diagnostic examination of the child, to think about the logic of correctional and developmental influence based on the laws of development; to create emotional comfort; to develop productive interaction with children with disabilities and their parents ); methodical (ability to develop methodical support of correctional and developmental classes, content and algorithm of their implementation, monitor the dynamics of the child's success and adjust the content of these classes, methods and techniques of influencing the child's development); special-methodical (to gain experience in the development of correctional and developmental classes for children with autism, their implementation and development of methodological recommendations based on the understanding of international achievements in this area and their own experience); design (be able to plan research-theoretical, methodical and practical activities aimed at developing intervention strategies for children with ASD); advisory (be able to organize and conduct consultations for parents of children with ASD and other members of the support team on the implementation of intervention strategies); competence in the direction of correctional and developmental work (to have the skills to determine the current needs of a child with ASD, formulation of SMART-goals, development in accordance with them a system of consistent correctional and developmental classes, their implementation, monitoring with further adjustment of goals, content and algorithm implementation of these classes); deontological (ability to solve problems in conditions of uncertainty and variability of possible results, which involves taking into account the diverse needs, as well as the presence of combined functional limitations in the child); 5 3) to ensure the acquisition of practical skills in the formation of professional competence in the development and implementation of intervention strategies for children with autism spectrum disorders in the Center "Autism-Academy".
