Abstract
The article highlights the problem of the implementation of elements of gender linguistics in the process of teaching Ukrainian in general secondary education institutions. The necessity of scientific understanding of gender issues in school teaching of Ukrainian language is substantiated. The issue of antidiscrimination examination of the manuscripts of competitive textbooks in Ukrainian language with subsequent corrections and additions is outlined. Recent research and publications on the problem have been analyzed. It is emphasized that gender studies focus on differences in thinking, psychological characteristics, behavior, life experiences of women and men who are social entities, and therefore do not depend on biological differences between the sexes. It is noted that the school should enable students to develop individual abilities regardless of gender, to resist the traditional sex-role standards, since such stereotypes contradict real transformations of gender relations in modern life, impede gender equality, developmental relations. The differences between gender and gender approaches in education are presented. Teachers of vocabulary are acquainted with the subject of the study of gender linguistics, the possibilities of introducing its elements into the teaching of the Ukrainian language. The topics of the current Ukrainian language program that are most relevant for the implementation of the elements of gender linguistics («Genus nouns», «Basic ways of word formation», «Coordination of the main members of the sentence» (in particular verb-verbs with pronouns, pronounced nouns of masculine and feminine gender) are identified, means the names of people by activity), etc.). Emphasis is placed on the peculiarities of the creation of feminites: the specifics of the use of certain suffixes, their functioning in speech, the influence on the lexical meaning of the word, the most common deviations in the process of word formation. A system of different levels of exercises and tasks is proposed that will contribute to the formation of gender competence and the education of students' gender culture.
