Abstract
The aim of studying the discipline "Theory and Practice of the Newest Media: Planning the Activities of Converged Editorials" is to prepare students for work in converged media at a high professional level, to form their stable professional ideas and practical skills, which will gradually be formed into skills. The main objectives of the course are: the formation of a holistic and systematic understanding of journalism as a creative activity in the context of convergence; assimilation of key concepts, functions, principles, objectives and laws of convergent journalism; characteristics of the main journalistic techniques in the creation of universal content for newspapers, radio, television and the Internet.
