The purpose of the discipline "Psychology of media prosumer" is to form in students a system of theoretical, methodological knowledge about the psychology of media consumption, understanding media consumption as a social communication phenomenon, which consists in various interactions of individuals and social groups with media in the use, exchange, storage of media products.
