The acquisition of a system of mathematical ideas has a qualitative effect on the entire course of children’s mental development, since it has a complex psychophysiological and psychological structure, which is ensured by the joint work of various analysers. The formation and development of the functions of an account is closely linked to speech, which is included in its structure. Difficulties in acquiring mathematical skills at the primary level of schooling are experienced by children with typical development as well as by children with different dysfunctions. Among the irregularities in the mastery of mathematical concepts in children with severe speech impairments are discalculation. It is the prevention of certain violations that is dealt with in this article.
