Abstract

The article analyzes the features of editions of works of art by Ukrainian and foreign writers accompanied by AR-applications. The authors substantiated the relevance and outlined the prospects for the use of augmented reality books in the linguistic and literary field of primary education. Possibilities of application of AR-technology for development of creative imagination, emotional intelligence and creative thinking are demonstrated. A methodical model of augmented reality application in reading lessons in primary school has been developed. Its main stages are detailed: involvement; interaction; listening, reading and listening; research; creative work; evaluation. The main purpose of the proposed model is to involve the "digital generation" in reading, the formation of primary school students' need to learn about the world through fiction. In addition, the importance of setting up observation of literary characters through animation and active interaction with them is substantiated. The authors have developed a number of game tasks, during which the augmented reality of the art book is activated. According to AR-applications, junior students have the opportunity to explore in detail the virtual world of art. This approach allows students to visually imagine the reality depicted by the writer, to approach the understanding of images, to learn more about the values, being in the virtual plane of the art world, which contributes to the creative imagination of students and the formation of their figurative thinking.
