Abstract
In modern pedagogical theory and practice, information-analytical competence is considered as the readiness and ability of a person to use information-analytical knowledge, skills, abilities in the process of working with information of different types and forms, as well as the ability to evaluate, store, analyze various information, in particular in conditions of uncertainty. The formation of information-analytical competence is the lever that allows IT professionals to assess problem situations accurately, predict their solutions, make optimal decisions. Several studies that reveal various aspects of the formation of information and analytical competence in students or professionals was implemented in Ukraine: teachers (L. Petrenko, V. Yagupov, T. Volkova, I. Samoilyukevich, O. Naznachylo), specialists in document science and information activities (S. Grigorash, V. Ishchenko), specialists in international relations (O. Kobelev, V. Tretko), medical workers (N. Lobach, O. Varava), lawyers (O. Beskrovnyi, S. Ternov, O. Mandzyuk), food industry specialists (O. Skafa) and others. However, so far, this issue is insufficiently implemented in the professional training of computer science future bachelors. The article aims to present the results of research on the formation of information and analytical competence of students majoring in “Computer Science”. The following pedagogical conditions are offered: formation of motivation to informationanalytical activity as a factor of professional formation and career growth of computer sciences future bachelors; enrichment of academic disciplines content with information aimed at mastering by students the system of knowledge about the essence of information-analytical activity and their acquisition of skills and abilities for its practical implementation; diversification of students' professional training process using project teaching methods. At the end of the formative experiment, with the help of selected criteria (motivational-value, cognitive, operational, reflexive-evaluative, and creative), their indicators (reproductive, sufficient, advanced) and selected methodological tools compared control and experimental groups to prove the effectiveness of the developed pedagogical conditions. It is statistically proven that the control and experimental groups are not equivalent according to particular criteria. As a result of the pedagogical experiment, the efficiency of the author’s pedagogical conditions of information-analytical competence formation of future bachelor’s of computer sciences is established. Prospects for further research are outlined – the adaptation of pedagogical requirements within non-formal and informal education implementation.
