Abstract

On the basis of the analysis of recent research and publications, we identified the relevance of the topic for writing an article. The article consider the organizational and methodical principles of forming in the students of the elementary school of grammatical skills at the Ukrainian language lessons. An analysis of recent research and publications, which indicates insufficient attention to solving the problem of organizational and methodological foundations for the formation of grammatical skills of primary school students. Theoretical bases of formation of grammatical skills of junior schoolchildren that are necessary for an effective course of process of training of the Ukrainian language in initial classes are defined. The basic notions of the topic are determined (grammar, skills, grammatical skills, grammatical competence and others). The necessity of preparinga teacher to work on the formation of younger students of grammatical concepts is substantiated. General recommendations for the organization work on the formation of grammatical skills in junior schoolchildren are presented. The priority directions of the teacher's work in the lessons of studying grammar in order to form grammatical skills of junior schoolchildren are indicated. The main tasks of grammar lessons in elementary school are determined. The main approaches to organization of work on the formation of grammatical skills in junior schoolchildren when studying the main sections of grammar (morphology and syntax) are described. The main methodological aspects of work on the formation of grammatical skills of students are considered (traditional and non-traditional learning methods, as well as traditional and non-traditional techniques for forming grammatical skills of students). The types of grammatical exercises (aimed at receiving information and its reproduction; aimed at communicating) and tasks that should be used when teaching grammar to primary school students are identified. The forms and means by which the formation of grammatical skills in primary school students in Ukrainian language lessons is described. Conclusions are made and given proposals for the formation of grammatical skills of elementary school students.
