Abstract

Adolescence is a period of rapid changes and transformations, gaining new experience and new person- ality traits. The formation of personality occurs within three main areas: cognitive, a ective and behavioral. In addition, the speci cs of adolescence depend on a number of factors, among which social interaction is fundamentally important. The factor that determines the speci cs and nature of social relationships is the genetic aspect of adolescents’ personal development, namely ontogenesis, or dysontogenesis. We understand dysontogenesis as a de ciency of a certain sphere of individual’s development, particularly, visual or hearing impairments. The lack of opportunity to obtain su cient information about the world signi cantly limits the development of communication and adaptive skills. Thus, taking into account the genetic aspect of formation is important for a comprehensive analysis of personal sphere, as well as for nding practical means of working with di erent categories of adolescents. That is why the aim of the article is to present the typology of adoles- cents, which is based on speci c manifestations of cognitive, a ective and behavioral spheres of personality, and which also takes into account a factor of onto- or dysontogenesis of personal formation. The methods of empirical research were Individual typology questionnaire, Dusseldorf Illustrated Schema Questionnaire for Children, and content analysis of personal narratives. Statistical processing of the obtained data was carried out using the cluster analysis. The obtained results demonstrate that the genetic context of adolescents deter- mines the formation of their personal manifestations, which, in turn, forms a kind of personality type. At the same time, there are speci c personality types that are unique to adolescents, the formation of which occurs in the context of onto- and dysontogenesis. Prospects for further research in this area are to study the possibilities of harmonizing the personal formation of adolescents through the transformation of their personality types.
