Abstract

The article substantiates the importance of the introduction of media in modern primary school and highlights the problem of using media in the content of primary education. The domestic experience in improving the quality of education through media technologies and multimedia is analyzed and the didactic conditions of implementation in primary school lessons are analyzed. The main types of media, which are an important element in the primary school lesson, are considered. It is analyzed that the use of media in Ukrain-ian language lessons in primary school contributes to the individualization of the educational process, taking into account the level of preparation, abilities, interests and needs of students. The ways of introduction of media means and formation of media literacy of junior schoolchildren at lessons of Ukrainian language and lit-erary reading in the process of independent activity for armament by the system of reading actions in expedient use of media means are covered. Positive and negative possibilities of application of works of art, media texts for perception, development of world outlook of junior schoolboys are opened. It is proved that the introduction of media helps to raise the school lesson to a qualitatively new, modern level, and it certainly contributes to the development of research, analytical, creative abilities not only of students but also teachers; help to provide such conditions under which all students will be involved in learning, the process of self-learning, self-expres-sion, cooperation, change of standard thinking to critical, the ability to analyze, express and defend their plans and ideas. It is established that an important stage in the development of primary education is the introduc-tion of modern innovative technologies, the purpose of which is to ensure the improvement of the educational process, accessibility and effectiveness of primary education. It was found that different types of media allow to model the conditions of educational activities in the lessons of Ukrainian language and reading in primary school, to implement them in various training exercises of a situational nature.
