Abstract
The article characterizes criteria evaluation system of literary competence levels of the Ukrainian language and literature teacher, designed on the basis of the organic combination of external and internal displays, procedural and effective moments of potential and actualized aspects, quantitative and qualitative measurements. The author clarifies the semantics of such concepts as “criterion”, “factor”, “indicator” that emphasize understanding of the problem of quality of professional training of future teachers of Ukrainian language and literature, and serve as a basis for the model of literary competence development. It defines and substantiates required number of criteria of studied personal and professional phenomenon formation and their indicators which characterize personal and professional phenomenon formation of the Ukrainian language and literature teachers and the students as future specialist with sufficient accuracy
