The development of modern society requires a reform of the education system. One of the priorities of the reform of the education system of Ukraine at the present stage is to find new and innovative approaches to the development of teachers. In Ukraine, there is a gradual replacement of the authoritarian model of teaching on student-oriented. In effect a new education paradigm, in which the components of the learning content are formed on the basis of a certain outcome. The leading condition of professional development of trainers of vocational training institutions and teachers of special subjects is their pedagogical skills - professional quality, which ensures a high level of self-organization of professional activities on the basis of a reflective and makes it possible with minimal effort and in the shortest possible time to achieve planned results in training and education students. One of the forms of teaching skills is the author’s school. Author’s school is created to address the urgent problems of providing professional and personal development of teachers, improve their psychological and pedagogical competence, professional identity formation, the development of creative and scientific potential. In the course of the author’s school patterns are tracked, as well as some indicators of professional teachers for a certain period, an analysis of the positive and negative events in the development of professionalism and creativity of teachers, resulting in the development of the individual components of a holistic educational process. As experience shows, the participation of teachers in the author’s school gives positive results in the development of the professional competence of teachers of vocational schools, developing their teaching skills, as well as in the growth of their motivation for professional work. Accordingly, increases students' interest in learning. Teachers and trainers have sponsored authoring lessons, guidelines, manuals, textbooks, the winners of various competitions of professional skills.
