Abstract
The article is devoted to the discussion of the problem of non-formal education of teachers in the context of the implementation of the concept of education throughout life. It is noted that the accelerated pace of life, the dynamics of social and economic processes lead to the rapid aging of knowledge. Formal education provided by universities, institutes, academies, vocational colleges, no ready to respond to today's requests. For a teacher whose strategic goal is the presentation of knowledge, skills, values orientations, socio-cultural codes, up-to-date information is important. One of the possible options for acquiring modern relevant competencies is non-formal education, which provides an opportunity for teachers to learn throughout life. Based on the analysis of scientific discourse, the problem of lifelong learning is studied. Emphasized that lifelong learning is dual in nature, as it aims to develop professional competencies teacher and promotes his self-development. The basis for the development of non-formal education were the concepts of the known foreign psychologists and teachers. Non-formal education of a teacher means purposeful educational activity, aimed at meeting a variety of educational needs, improving professional competencies, acquisition and the development of personal qualities, values, ways of thinking. It is emphasized that it provides ample opportunities to acquire competencies at any time, in any place, in any form, at any age. It is noted that non-formal education is attractive because it is a conscious, self-managed, internal motivation process. During the study within the framework of non-formal education, the teacher can build his own individual trajectory of personal and professional development. Traditional forms of non-formal education have been established teachers. The idea of EdCamp as a practical platform for the exchange of innovative ideas, innovative teaching methods and technologies is revealed. The role of providers of educational services in meeting the educational needs of teachers has been studied
