The article describes practical possibilities of using a CRM system. Authors indicated the steps in the implementation of the system, outlined the requirements, compiled a list of relevant CRM-solutions, presented the progress of the shortlist of the system. The article points out the positive consequences of the impact of IoT technology as a structural element of digital infrastructure, including: reducing the cost of providing services; greater transparency and resource efficiency; productivity growth in the industrial sector; the emergence of additional knowledge, as well as values based on connected “smart” things, reducing the cost of providing services. Negative consequences are the loss of jobs by low-skilled workers; breach of confidentiality; loss of control; malicious intrusion (hacking) and security threats. Authors analyze the development of the cloud potential market as a component of digital infrastructure, which is directly dependent on the level of use of cloud solutions by IT companies, as well as their intensive study of these technologies. It is noted that at the heart of each device in the IoT system are sensors that collect and transmit data to the “cloud” for further analysis, processing and making “smart” decisions. The gradual introduction of high-speed Internet provides a strong connection between millions of devices and sensors, allowing IoT to work efficiently. It is believed that the modern business environment is changing rapidly, and the set of requirements that were important in the initial stages of selection or immediately after the implementation of the CRM system may lose its relevance. That is why the chosen software platform must be scalable and flexible enough to grow with the organization, as well as be able to quickly transform processes and configure new tools to optimize sales, marketing and service. Author’s attention is focused on the fact that digital transformation of business changes the forms of activity, restructures organizations, lays the foundations for new business models, new sources and forms of income, attracting more consumers, takes customer service to a new level.
