Abstract

The article describes the place and role of the scientific-ethical approach in the scientific understanding of the development problem students' cognitive interest in media in the process of learning a foreign language in a professional direction. A set of features of the scientific and ethical approach to the development of students' cognitive interest is highlighted through the use of media during the study of a foreign language in a professional direction. The content is highlighted learning a foreign language in a professional direction with the use of media. The organizational and pedagogical conditions for the development of students' cognitive activity to study a foreign language in a professional direction are characterized. A block diagram of the component component of the process of developing students' cognitive interest in media tools in the process of learning a foreign language in a professional direction has been developed. The outlined block diagram contains a methodological one constituent part (development of cognitive interest of students in the process of learning a foreign language in a professional direction, which combines the actual goals, tasks and content of the discipline and media, with reliance on the conceptual foundations of the scientific and ethical approach). The procedural component, which consists in the development of students' cognitive interest at the expense of studying the basics of a modern foreign language in professional activity, raising the level of linguistic and communicative-activity professional training. As well as a technological component, which enables the use in the process of developing students' cognitive interest of media means of foreign language learning organization in a professional direction. The author's examples of conducting foreign language classes in the professional direction of using media are given tools (Slides, Padlet, Kahoot, Prezi, YouTube, Pinterest, TED Talks, etc.).
