Abstract
The article deals with the specific of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the system of pedagogical teacher training in Sweden. It was found that the specific scientific methodology of pedagogy in Sweden was historically and traditionally created as a regulation system, integrative in nature, and it is the basis for forming the content and gist of pedagogical teacher training. It is realized the logical and structural analysis of the concept of «praktisk-pedagogisk utbildning», used in the Swedish scientific and educational literature to indicate the nature of teacher training, and it is found its correlation to the concepts of "teacher training", "general pedagogical teacher training", "vocational pedagogical teacher training" , "professional teacher training".
