Abstract

The problem of working with sacred choral works in the classes of the educational choral group is analyzed. The role of religious and spiritual culture, sacred choral art is highlighted. The norms of the phonetics of hymns in the Church Slavonic language are outlined. Considered sacred choral music as a factor of spiritual and moral qualities of student youth; it was determined that at the present stage, one of the urgent issues and tasks of art education is the revival of the spirituality of the nation, the search for new landmarks, a new system of values.
