Abstract

The humanistic direction of modern education unveils new ways to improve the professional training of future specialists. An important role in this process is given to the awareness of the individual essence of each person, the determination of their potential and the development of their creative abilities. Creative potential is one of the indicators of self-development of a person. The current status of the phenomenon of creative potential in the anthropocentric paradigm is based on its relevance and applicability in various areas of human existence as the main source concept. The potential of a future music teacher has multiple and various characteristics and it manifests them in educational interaction to different extents. Qualitative determination of the creative potential development of a future music teacher is expressed to the fullest in abilities and needs, the possibility of fulfillment and satisfaction of which constitute the creative activity of higher education seekers. The issue of developing the creative potential of a future specialist becomes relevant due to the latent nature and nonlinear determination of the source concept. Modern society is characterized by rapid changes in all areas of life, which especially affects the development of educational domain. The educational domain undergoes significant transformational processes. The area where new values and digital technologies as well as new lifestyles meet requires modern educational approaches. The paper analyzes the state of the studied issue in psychological and pedagogical theory and practice, defines the objective and provides insight into the essence of scientific approaches in the educational process and their influence on creative potential development of a future music teacher
