Abstract

The article clarifies the essence of the scientific definitions of “performance training”, “musical performance”, “performance artistry”, “vocal voice”, “vocal voice training”. Scientists believe that performance training is the main component of the professional skill of the future teachers of musical art. The structural components of the subject matter of professional training of the future musical art teachers are highlighted, including: vocal and performance competence, value-based, reflective and evaluative, vocal and linguistic or vocal and communicative competence. The authors emphasize that artistic culture is vividly conveyed with the help of vocal and performing activities. The article emphasizes the importance of the disciplines from the vocal and performance cycle, as well as industryfocused practical training, including: choral, ensemble, children’s voice placement practice, which directly affect the making of a young specialist in the field of pedagogy. Additionally, the group of authors have suggested vocal methods of working with students in higher education institutions: demonstrations, analogies, verbal method, method of verbal explanations. The authors share the opinion of B. V. Asafiev, who believed that in their daily work, a teaching musician must show themselves as a performer who masters an instrument, and a choir conductor, and a music historian who knows musical literature well and can navigate it freely. The article highlights the interesting assumption of the Chinese scientist Jing Nan that the vocal training of the future music teachers is based on the organic unity of the individual, general and special. The content of the article reveals the essence of each suggested component of vocal training by this scientist. Scientists emphasize the importance of developing the skills of expressive musical intonation of the future teachers of musical art, because the performing interpretation of a musical image takes place through them. According to the authors, musical intonation is the basis of any musical art: composer creativity, performance creativity, and even creative perception of a musical work by a listener. The research was conducted with the help of general scientifictheoretical methods(analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization and others).
