Abstract

The article highlights the features of professional and pedagogical communication of the head of a modern general secondary education institution. In particular, the essence of such concepts as communication, nature of communication, professional and pedagogical communication, managerial activity from the communicative point of view, communicativeness is revealed. The structural components of professional and pedagogical communication and managerial aspects of the studied phenomenon are highlighted. Based on the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, the peculiarities of professional and pedagogical communication of the school principal are substantiated. The main problems that a leader may have when building effective communication are outlined. The ways of empowering the heads of educational institutions in the art of practical communication are described. It is also noted that the communicative goal of the pedagogical worker, including the head of the educational institution, is not only to achieve mutual understanding in communication, but also to initiate diverse, harmonious development of others. The main focus is on lexical and grammatical errors in professional speech (tautology, polyglot, pleonasm, use of words in inappropriate meanings, violation of lexical compatibility of words, complex cases of management, determining among the most appropriate management options, matching the predicate with the subject, expressed by quantitative and nominal combinations, coordination of appendices - geographical names, coordination of definitions, etc.) and ways to eliminate them. It is emphasized that competence education is personal-activity: the emphasis is shifted to the ability of a person to practical actions in specific life situations.
