Abstract

In the article the relationship between neuropedagogy and the Orff-Schulwerk in music education is considered, the correspondence of the principles of the Orff-Schulwerk to the principles of brain-oriented learning is being substantiated. Thus, the Orff-Schulwerk is considered the leading approach, especially at the initial stage of music education. It is based on such pedagogical principles as: child-centeredness; focus on social interaction and communication; working out the studied material; creativity as the main dominant of learning; focus on the development of artistry. The main characteristic of K. Orff's concept of musical education is the emphasis on creativity and the development of children's creative abilities. The combination of the Orff-Schulwerk and neuropedagogy allows not only to develop students' creative abilities, but also increases the effectiveness of a child's education in musical art as a whole. To teach children music, it is important to be aware of the features of neuropedagogy and brain-oriented learning in particular: the features of the connection between information and emotions, the sequence of learning stages, the specifics of motivation, the formation of skills, etc. Modern music teachers must understand that it is impossible to develop a child's creativity by uncreative methods, using only traditional methods. In order to learn and remember something, it is necessary to use sensory input of information, there must be a personal emotional connection with this information. The learning process goes through successive stages of learning: first the child must receive a sensory experience, then reflect on it, and then make connections. The brain also needs feedback to learn from experience. There is a close relationship between emotions, thoughts and learning outcomes. Therefore, music lessons should be productive, meaningful and exciting, they should inspire optimism.
