Abstract

The article reveals the organizational and methodological principles of primary school pupils' ac-quisition of phraseology in Ukrainian language lessons. Attention is focused on the system of studying phra-seology. Revealed and the essence of the basic concepts of the article is specified: "lexicology", "phraseology" etc. Groups of techniques for working on phraseology are highlighted, the originality of these techniques is described. The need for professional and pedagogical training of the teacher to work on the formation of lexical skills in younger schoolchildren by means of phraseology is highlighted. The peculiarities of the acquisition of phraseology by primary school students are determined. Phraseology as an object of research in linguistics is characterized. General recommendations regarding the organization of work on the study of phraseological units by younger schoolchildren are considered. The classification of phraseological units is presented. The for-mation of students' communicative competence in the process of studying phraseology is described. The method of formation of lexical and phraseological competences is disclosed. The types of lexical exercises and tasks that should be used during the teaching of phraseology in Ukrainian language classes in primary school are char-acterized. The typological characteristics of the teacher as a subject are considered of the educational process, the psychological factors of lexical formation are defined and phraseological competences of future primary school teachers, speech activity is characterized as an objective learning process lexicology and phraseology of future primary school teachers. Found out general didactic and specific principles of teaching lexicology and phraseology, modern approaches, forms, methods, tools, learning technologies lexicology and phraseology of future primary school teachers. The question of the relevance of phraseological research is highlighted, which is determined by attention to the problems of national self-consciousness and the need to find new approaches to the study of phraseology
