Abstract

In accordance with the Ukrainian language curriculum for students of grades 10-11 of secondary schools with Ukrainian language of instruction at the standard level, 2017 (authors: N.B. Holub, O.Yu. Kotusenko, O.M. Horoshkina, V. Novosyolova. I., Romanenko Yu.O., Kondesyuk T.V., Korol O.M., Tarasenko O.O., Sergeeva N.V., Tkachova G.V.) content lines are presented that determine the essence of the process of learning the Ukrainian language : the speech content line orients the teacher's work to the comprehensive development of students, their formation as competent speakers, involves systematic purposeful work at each lesson on enriching the active vocabulary, mastering speech genres, forming effective communication skills, gaining experience in solving life problems by means of language (reflected in list of recommended types of work); the language content line defines a list of important questions of the theory of language for learning, which are basic for the formation of normative speech skills, speech culture; the need for an activity content line is determined by the metasubject nature of subject knowledge and the need to immerse students as subjects of the educational process in all types of activities, during which they acquire subject experience, master various strategies of speech activity (reflected in section 3. Learning outcomes by discipline) ; the socio-cultural content line is designed to ensure the systematic patriotic, moral, and aesthetic education of students, to implement the task of socialization of youth, to be a reference point in the direction of education for the mastery of all key competencies; cross-cutting content lines are common to all general education disciplines, are a means of integrating educational content, they are correlated with certain key competencies and contribute to the formation of the student's value and worldview orientations, which determine his behavior in life situations.
