Abstract

Digitization of the education system is caused by widespread use of digital technologies by all participants of the educational space, including employees of organizational and training divisions of HEI, which has a positive effect on the effectiveness of their work and promotes professional competence. The article highlights the process of digital competence development as the main component in the formation of professional competence of employees working at organizational and training divisions of HEI. To be modern, mobile and competitive, an employee must have the ability and skills to use digital technologies systemically and logically in everyday work. Despite the variety of solutions for the development of digital competence, the education system in this area needs the search of new ways. The article analyzes the latest research on the study of digital competence in various types of HEI employees, including specialists of organizational and training divisions of universities. The authors outline the essence of the concept "digital competence" of employees working at organizational and training divisions of a university and identify its components and directions of development. In the article European standards of digital competence research have been analyzed, which are an important tool for improving its level among employees of organizational and training divisions of a university. Conducting the study, the authors used theoretical methods of analysis and generalization of scientific works of leading scientists on the development of digital competence in the context of the use of digital technologies in the organization of educational process; scientific publications on the development of digital competence in pedagogical staff of HEI have been reviewed. It has been found out that the main components for the development of digital competence are information management, cooperation, communication, knowledge, responsibility, problem solving.
