Abstract
The publication substantiates that in the conditions of the transformation of education, the introduction of competence and personal approaches in the New Ukrainian School, the formation of the key competence "fluency in the state language", the methodical system of phonetics training of future teachers of the Ukrainian language and literature needs to be revised. The updating of its content is due to the fact that the ability to carry out effective communication in oral and written form only on the basis of the lexical and grammatical resources of the language, as stated in the State Standard of Basic Secondary Education, somewhat violates the ontological integrity of mastering the language as a substantial-functional model in which the elements lower linguistic level (phonetic) perform functions without which segments of higher levels do not function. The article proves that the phonetic component of language, whose functions "consist in the sound coding of the text in the process of synthesis (speech) and its decoding during analysis (perception)" (according to N. Pliushch), today in educational communication studies forms the basis of the language code and the skills of the participants of the educational the process of building its strategy and tactics. It is determined that the powerful potential of educational communicative studies prompts the field of linguistic didactics to develop new methods of combining the achievements of language theory, in particular in the phonetic language code system, and communicative studies itself. It is proposed to review the methodology of phonetics training for future teachers of Ukrainian linguistics by analyzing the genesis of phonetics in world linguistic traditions. With this in mind, the achievements of the Indian linguistic tradition is analyzed, it is substantiated that precisely on the basis of the eternal preservation of religious works through their oral recitation and transmission, phonocentrism, the foundations of the evolution of the doctrine of the phonetic and phonological system of language is laid by the linguists of Ancient India; based on the gradation principle, a composite writing (Brahmi, Devanagari) is designed, the essence of which is based on abugida as a special type of writing. It is observed that Indian linguist philosophers have developed the doctrine of "sphota-phoneme" and substantiated its role not only in the development of phonetics, phonology, but also grammar, logic, psychology, and semantics. The essence of Panini's "Shiva Sutras" and their influence on the development of phonetics and phonology is observed. It is proved that the achievements of the grammarians of Ancient India are important for the development of modern linguistics and linguistic didactics.
