The author of theses of the report analyzed the most productive syntactic models of categorical statements and negations used in modern Chinese; 4 ways of constructing categorical statements and negations are distinguished and characterized: in relation to the subject/subjects of the action, in relation to the object/objects of the action, in relation to the action itself, in relation to any categories in the sentence
