Abstract

The article is devoted to the issues of organizing art support in rehabilitation camps for families raising children with autism spectrum disorders. The relevance of using art tools in working with children with special educational needs is determined by the beneficial effect of art tools on the intellectual, emotional, personal and social development of the child. The article reveals the theoretical foundations of the organization of art support for families raising children with autism spectrum disorders. It has been proven that in order to take into account the general regularities of the development of a child's psyche and a number of difficulties in the development of a child with autism spectrum disorders, it is necessary to focus on the general (main) and special (explanatory) principles of special psychology. The basic concepts of "social integration" and "habilitation" are highlighted. Namely, the concept of habilitation reveals the essence of art accompaniment of families in the conditions of camps through the acquisition of new social experience by a child with autism and the expansion of the limits of his capabilities, while social integration is a means of attracting children to a new social space (camp). The essence of psychological support for parents of children with autism is revealed, which consists in harmonizing their personality and increasing their parental competence for effective interaction with children. Within the definition of the applied principles of the organization of art support for families raising children with autism spectrum disorders, the concepts of "art therapy", "art technology", and "art pedagogy" have been differentiated. The definition of the concept of art support was formed - a complex system of art-therapeutic and art-pedagogical means used in the psychological and pedagogical support of families raising children with special educational needs. A model of art support in the conditions of the habilitation camp for families raising children with autism spectrum disorders is proposed, which consists of three aspects: art support of children with autism; art support of parents and siblings (brothers and sisters with typical development); art support of the whole family in joint activities. Systematization parameters are outlined with respect to all the specified aspects: format (art therapy, art pedagogy or their combination), event (title), content (essence of the event), functions (implementation of which functions a certain event involves).
