Abstract
In this article actualized the problem of training future primary school teachers for skill formation for lifelong learning in students. Outlined challenges of modern education and transition to to mixed and distance education as a requirement of our time. Highlighted importance of the development of self-learning skills of students of all educational levels to ensure the effectiveness of distance education. Presented component structure of lifelong learning skill, which assumes formation of motivation and readiness for individual self-learning activity. Determined comparative analysis of state standards: primary education, higher education in the specialty 013 Primary education and the professional standard “Primary school teacher” regarding the content skill of lifelong learning, and defined a number of common abilities that characterize it: determine conditions and resources (including digital) for personal and professional development; evaluate risks and make decisions; apply different sources to find additional information in order to solve problems and prevent them; creatively apply innovations and etc. Presented experience of using distance education tools for professional development of primary school teachers, which able independently improve their personal and professional skills and to form appropriate skills in primary education students. Сharacterized pedagogical conditions that contributes for effective formation of specified skills. In confirmation of effectiveness of existing experience in this article provided results of an empirical research, conducted as part of a master’s thesis, regarding of formation skill of lifelong learning primary school students by distance education means. Characterized tools of distance education for use in primary school. Presented description of developed by a master’s student of educational and methodological manual regarding use of means of distance education for formation of competence lifelong learning of primary school students. Manual is structured according to following blocks: Remote technologies: selection of best; Recommendations for parents; Recommendations for teachers; Interactive applications for teachers and parents regarding organization of distance learning with purpose of forming lifelong learning competence. Obtained results of research made it possible to make conclusion about the effectiveness of developed educational and methodological manual and positive dynamics of implementation by primary school teachers means of distance education for formation of lifelong learning competence in primary school students.
