Abstract

The field of professional activity of a social worker is almost entirely based on the organization and conduct of negotiations between specialists and clients; between different social services working in the field of providing social services. It is clear that the ability to effectively organize communication and conduct negotiations is an important quality for a specialist to successfully solve professional tasks of social work. The article examines the issues of negotiation in social work and offers a step-by-step algorithm for preparing for negotiations during the implementation of programs or projects on issues of social protection and provision of social services. Negotiating activity in social work is carried out and is in a continuous process called "social dialogue". At the same time, non-state institutions that provide social services, in their practical activities for the purpose of implementing programs / projects, use various approaches to conducting negotiations, which positively affects the "end product" of their activities. The quality of preparation and conduct of negotiations depends on the professional competence of the leaders of both parties and the team preparing these negotiations. The main problem of negotiations in social work is the adaptation of human needs (organizations, foundations, etc.) to the possibilities of their satisfaction within the legal framework that exists and is currently in force in the state. The biggest problem in social work is the rapidity of social processes in society. Therefore, the social needs of communities are in constant transformation. The main task of all organizations implementing social policy in the state is to respond to these requests in a timely manner and to develop concrete steps for social protection of the population and provision of certain social services to people.
