Анотація
The article considers the importance of educational and game technologies as an effective form of learning, defines the essential characteristics of the game as a means of learning; the prospects of using educational games in Ukrainian language lessons in general secondary education institutions are outlined. It was found that the educational and game technology involves a clearly formulated didactic task, a game idea aimed at achieving a certain educational goal, guidance from the teacher, established and predetermined clear rules, discussion of the correctness of the results achieved. The integral structure of educational and game technology is described, which covers a certain part of the educational process and is based on a single content, plot, and characters. The use of educational and game technologies is substantiated, which is subordinated to the following goals: didactic, developmental, educational. It has been proven that educational and game technology includes a wide group of methods and techniques of organizing the pedagogical process in the form of various pedagogical games. The optimal methods, forms and tools that will ensure the use of educational and game technologies in Ukrainian language lessons in institutions of general secondary education have been selected. It is emphasized that the implementation of game techniques in education takes place in certain directions. It is emphasized that language riddle games (charades, metagrams, anagrams, cryptogram, logographs) are most often used in grades 5–7. The essence of the business game is characterized, which consists in reproducing a certain professional situation in its standardized form and finding optimal directions of development and ways to solve a certain situation. It is noted that game actions should be subject to the norms of competent actions and norms of social relations. Attention is focused on the game discussion, which involves collective discussion of a controversial issue, exchange of opinions, ideas between several participants. It has been proven that the main purpose of this method is to identify differences in the interpretation of the problem and establish the truth in the process of a friendly dispute.
