Abstract

The problem of preserving and improving the psychological well-being of Ukrainian adolescents in the conditions of Ukraine's war with the russian federation is revealed in the article. As a result of an empirical study conducted with the participation of 94 internally displaced adolescents and 92 adolescents who didn`t change their place of residence, the ambiguous impact of internal displacement of adolescents on their psychological well-being was proven. It was established that the level of subjective well-being of adolescents who were forced to move within the borders of Ukraine is lower than that of adolescents who did not change their place of residence. At the same time, internally displaced adolescents testified to less self-satisfaction and disappointment in life, compared to the studied local residents. It was recorded that adolescents who did not change their place of residence have higher average statistical indicators of resilience than the group of internally displaced adolescents. This is also confirmed by the greater number of carriers of a high level of resilience in the sample of adolescents who didn`t change their place of residence. At the same time, the group of medium-level resilience carriers of internally displaced adolescents dominates quantitatively, rather than local residents. It was found that the average statistical indicators of anxiety and depression in internally displaced adolescents are higher compared to the indicators of subjects who did not change their place of residence. At the same time, a larger of adolescents who do not have signs of anxiety or depressive disorder was recorded among those who were forced to change their place of residence. Thus, the study confirmed the multi-vector influence of forced displacement of adolescents with in Ukraine on their psychological well-being. The negative consequences are a deterioration of the emotional condition, a decrease in the level of resilience in many adolescents. At the same time, under the conditions of providing psychological support, forcibly displaced adolescents have significant adaptive potential and resources for restoring subjective well-being.
