Abstract

Art education in Ukraine has ancient historical roots. Since the Middle Ages, there has been a need for people who can create works of art of high quality. For a long time knowledge in art was scattered and it was even easy to distinguish the work of one or another group of artists - individual techniques often prevailed over generally accepted ideas about the artistic embodiment of certain images, the means of realizing a creative idea and the set of pictorial and expressive means was diffrent.
