Abstract
The conditions of restrictions during the pandemic and full-scale war in Ukraine necessitated the introduction of a remote form of the educational process, which led to the search for new forms, methods, means, and technologies of the educational process. The distance lesson "I explore the world" is considered as a form of organizing the educational process for the study of natural, civic and historical, social and health-care educational fields, which takes place remotely in space or time with the help of modern digital technologies in order to form civic, social, natural and other competencies of students of primary education. Specific features affecting the preparation and conducting of the "I explore the world" lessons have been identified: integration of several educational fields; formation of key and subject (civic, social, natural sciences) competencies; mastering the methods of learning about the surrounding world, developing the research skills of younger schoolchildren; fostering an active civic position based on the principles of democracy, tolerance, respect for oneself and others, gaining experience in constructive interaction and civic behavior; encouraging interest in the present and past of one's family, community, Ukraine, awareness of one's own identity, affirmation of one's dignity; forming a value attitude; acquiring social, emotional and sensory experience of life in society. Game technology is effective for conducting distance lessons "I explore the world" and can be used as a game organization of the entire lesson (lesson-tale, lesson-journey, lesson-quiz, lesson-competition, lesson-quest, lesson-auction, lesson-research, lesson-project, etc.), as a role-playing game (plot-role-playing, role-playing, business, folk game, theater, dramatization), as separate games at different stages of the lesson. Modern remote toolkit makes it possible to successfully conduct a lesson-quiz, lesson-competition, lesson-travel, web quest and organize games while completing tasks at a distance.
