Abstract

The article addresses actual issues of organizing the work of teachers on the development of junior pupils' speech and creative abilities in Ukrainian language lessons. The basic concepts of the study are described. The theoretical and practical approaches to the formation of primary schoolchildren's speech personality are investigated. The scientific bases of the methodology of primary schoolchildren's speech development are outlined. The factors that influence the speech development of pupils are specified. The organizational and methodological system of the teacher's work on the formation of primary school pupils' speech skills is analyzed. The key aspects of the pedagogical process aimed at forming and maintaining a high level of pupils' speech development and creativity are highlighted. The psychological and pedagogical aspects of the development of primary school pupils' speech skills are analyzed. The linguistic and didactic principles of organizing pupils' speech and creative activity in Ukrainian language lessons at primary school are considered. The tasks and content of the work on the development of coherent speech of junior pupils are presented. The basic principles of organizing the speech and creative activity of primary school pupils are defined. The stages of the methodology for the formation of primary school pupils' speech and creative skills in the Ukrainian language lessons are specified. The main directions of the teacher's work on the formation of primary school pupils' speech and creative abilities are indicated. The tasks that a teacher should be aware of in order to manage the speech development of pupils are highlighted. The methodological recommendations for primary school teachers on the development of primary school pupils' speech and creative abilities in Ukrainian language lessons are given. The expedient methods and techniques, forms and means of teaching pupils in order to form their speech and creative skills are recommended. A system of exercises and tasks has been created that can be used in Ukrainian language lessons to develop primary school pupils' speech and creative abilities.
