Abstract

Modern social reality is characterized by an increased level of stress, the destructive influence of various negative factors on the individual with increasing uncertainty of the situation, multiple challenges and dangers of information culture. A person needs to be able to resist negative changes and influences of society, while the most important qualities of a modern personality are the ability to cope with problems and violations, making quick adequate decisions and making choices. Researchers in various scientific fields pay more and more attention to the study of the multifaceted phenomenon of sustainability as an integrative characteristic of the subject, which is used to reveal common properties in philosophy, personality psychology, pedagogical psychology, and the theory of life safety. The article examines the problem of the course of life of a modern person in increasingly difficult living conditions during the war and the possibility of psychological practice to resist the negative effects of society. The need for further study of vitality as a subjective characteristic of personality, practical use of vitality components for the purpose of harmonious development of personal qualities, psychological state of a person in modern conditions is investigated. The application of psychological methods of increasing the vitality of the individual will help practical psychologists to create conditions for the personal growth of the participants in order to optimize social adaptation and increase the sense of safety and security. The purpose of this study was to study psychological methods and technologies (art-therapeutic, meditative, physical exercises, breathing) that increase the life-affirming potential of an individual in the conditions of a military conflict, as well as to provide opportunities for their use in the formation of an individual's vitality. Obviously, the interest of psychological scientists and practicing psychologists in the phenomenon of vitality will not be exhausted, but will expand more and more in connection with the need to solve various applied tasks.
