Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic and the full-scale war launched by Russia against Ukraine have led to the introduction of distance and blended learning technologies in educational institutions at all levels. In accordance with this, digital learning technologies became the main ones during the organization of the educational process, since it is thanks to them that remote interaction between the teacher and students of education becomes possible. We analyzed in detail the psychological and pedagogical literature on the topic of scientific research. A thorough work of the authors in the context of the implementation of digital learning technologies was revealed. It has been found that scientists single out both advantages (flexibility in time and place, wide access to resources, individualization of learning, visualization of materials, opportunities for collaboration, instant feedback, environmental efficiency) and disadvantages (problems with technical support, lack of personal contact, excessive demands for self-discipline, problem with maintaining the attention of students, minimization of practice, security and confidentiality issues, technical malfunctions, compliance with norms of academic integrity) of their use. Thus, there is a need to find ways to integrate digital technologies into the work practice of educational institutions, which would contribute to the maximum use of advantages and minimization of disadvantages. Considering this need, the purpose of our research is to study the practical aspects and challenges of introducing digital technologies into the educational process of higher education institutions. We have developed a table that presents resources for digital learning (Google meet, Zoom, Google Hangouts, Skype, Jamboard, Classroomscreen, Explain Everything, Mindmeister, Coggle, Word Clouds, Google Classroom, ClassDojo, Moodle, Thinglink, Matific, MozaBook, Unimaster, Google Arts & Culture, Google forms, Kahoot!), links to sites and a brief description of their practical potential in the context of higher education students. Ways to minimize the shortcomings were proposed digital learning. As a conclusion, promising research topics related to the issue of introducing digital learning technologies into the practice of educational institutions have been determined.
