Анотація
The relevance of the research topic lies in the reproduction of exotic vocabulary that provided Tolkien's fictional world with colorfulness and uniqueness. While translating exoticisms, the translator usually resorts to transcription and transliteration, which represents the strategy of foreignization. Kateryna Onishchuk utilized the technique of borrowing in almost all cases, resulting in a more accurate translation.
