Abstract
In the article, an attempt is made, taking into account the phenomenal features of the edu- cational environment of the general second- ary education institution, to argue its role in the course of professional adaptation of the teacher. A brief theoretical review of scientific sources on the researched issue made it possible to draw conclusions about the essence of the basic concepts of the study. The educational envi- ronment of the institution of general secondary education is considered as a multi-subject and multi-subject systemic formation that has objec- tive opportunities to purposefully influence the development and socialization of the individual; this is a complex of conditions-opportunities and resources (material, financial, personal, tech- nological, organizational, reputational) for the education of the individual, which have formed purposefully in an institution that performs edu- cational functions in the provision of full general secondary education, provides opportunities for general cultural and personal development of all sub objects of the educational process. The essence of the teacher’s professional adaptation is clarified as a continuous process that involves constant adaptation to the changing conditions of professional activity. It has been established that professional adaptation is successful if the orga- nization systematically implements measures aimed at ensuring the successful professional development of a working person, the formation of professional qualities, attitudes, the need to work actively and creatively. Based on the results of a survey of 185 practicing teachers of general secondary education institutions in Kyiv, Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, which was conducted in April 2024, a conclusion was made about the actual difficulties of their professional adaptation. For ease of analysis of typical problems faced by teachers in the workplace, they are classified into the following types: personal-personal, pedagog- ical-professional, psychological, material-tech- nical, financial, social (including those related to the context of war). The conducted research actualized the necessity of substantiating an inte- gral intra-organizational support system for pro- fessional adaptation of a teacher in the educa- tional environment of an educational institution.
