Abstract
The article highlights the problem of organizing project activities in Ukrainian language lessons in grades 7-8 in conditions of mixed education. Emphasis is placed on the fact that the use of educational project activities in the educational process provides significant opportunities in the formation of a competent personality, capable of actively planning and carrying out their studies, responsibly and creatively applying the knowledge and experience gained in the future. It is emphasized that the project method acquires special importance in the conditions of mixed education caused by the state of war, which is a hybrid form of education between online and offline formats. The skills that work on the project develops in students are highlighted. It is noted that before startingtheimplementation of the project, the stages of activity should be divided between learning in the classroom under the guidance and support of the teacher and independent performance of educational work in the online format. The age-specific features of thinking and information perception of seventh�and eighth-graders are taken into account. Special attention is paid to the formation of students' ability to navigate in the information environment, to find the necessary information both according to the teacher's recommendations and independently, as well as to construct, generalize and integrate knowledge obtained from various sources. It is emphasized that during the implementation of the stages of the offline project, the teacher should help the students formulate the goal of the project, find out the content of the tasks necessary to achieve the goal, summarize the results of processing the collected information. An example of the organization of project learning during the study by students of the topic "Youth slang as a linguistic phenomenon: its role and significance in communication" is given. Ways of correct and effective adaptation of the organization of educational project activities to the conditions of alternating online and offline training have been identified. It was concluded that properly organized project work significantly stimulates students' motivation to study. It is noted that by activating various didactic approaches, the project activity ensures the effectiveness of training in the process of practical activity.
