Анотація

To assess the effect of hazards on people, it is necessary to take into account not only the population density of people, but also the possibility of a large number of people congregating in one place. This requires a classification of places and reasons for the accumulation of a large number of people in one place. The relevance of this study is due to the increase in natural, man-made and social risks in the context of ongoing urbanization, an increase in the number of people and an increase in places and the number of large crowds of people. The research methodology included analysis and synthesis. When analyzing the impact of hazards on large crowds of people, statistical methods were used. Analysis of trends and forecasts is done using extrapolation. Large crowds are at higher risk of threats from extremists and terrorists. As the analysis has shown, in large crowds of people, under the influence of natural, man-made, social, and military threats, secondary dangers can form, which aggravate the negative situation and lead to an increase in the number of victims and deaths. A detailed classification of places with a large number of people will make it possible to develop measures and means that will reduce the level of primary and secondary risks. In practical activities, this will reduce the number of victims and deaths from direct and secondary dangers that are typical for a large concentration of people in one place.
