Abstract

"Yasashii Nihongo" is defined as a language policy necessary for successful realization of a multicultural society and its sustainable development. The main vectors are defining and justifying the role of simplified language for minorities and for the majority, considering it as an important tool for creating a comfortable living environment for both adults and children, citizens with foreign roots, as well as people with special needs. In particular, "Yasashii Nihongo" is considered as an intermediary language for providing information from specialists to non-specialists.
