Abstract

The article examines an important aspect of the work of the outstanding writer Franz Kafka. The authors analyzed the novel "The Castle" and found in it a deep symbolism of power and authoritarianism. The article reveals the theme of using the code of power as one of the central motifs in the work, indicating its meaning and influence on the plot and characters. The study traces how the author embodies the concept of power through the mystical image of the Castle, which becomes a symbol of power and its special capabilities. The authors of the article draw conclusions about how the use of the code of power contributes to the disclosure of the theme of human helplessness before power and the inability to understand its essence. In general, the article reflects a deep analysis of Franz Kafka's novel "The Castle" from the point of view of rethinking the concept of power and authoritarianism.
