Abstract
In educational institutions, education seekers frequently encounter various challenges and difficulties that can escalate into conflict situations. Conflict prevention plays a crucial role in fostering a healthy and safe educational environment, allowing every student to thrive and achieve success. This makes it an essential and timely topic for discussion. Conflicts and bullying are intrinsic aspects of interactions within any social setting, including educational institutions. These issues significantly affect education seekers psychological well-being, academic performance, and the overall atmosphere of the educational institution. Analyzing these phenomena through the lens of social psychology helps to understand their root causes and discover effective prevention methods. The article examines the characteristics of bullying and conflicts in educational settings and introduces methods and key strategies for conflict resolution, such as competition, accommodation, withdrawal, collaboration, and compromise. It also highlights conflict prevention techniques for students that can be utilized for effective conflict management. Furthermore, the article emphasizes the issue of bullying in educational institutions, analyzing its primary causes and differentiating it from other forms of conflict. The socio-psychological analysis of bullying and conflicts focuses on mechanisms like group dynamics, social identity, stereotypes, and social norms. Conflicts often emerge among education seekers (classmates or group mates) due to personality clashes and differing opinions on various issues. Common causes include struggles for leadership and authority among peers, as well as insults and misunderstandings. Understanding these causes is a critical step toward effective conflict prevention and resolution in the educational environment. Unresolved conflicts can lead to decreased academic performance, psychological stress, strained relationships among students, deteriorating emotional states, and increased bullying incidents.
