Abstract

The paper considers the concept of “hedonism” as an ethical doctrine and “hedonistic component” as a phenomenon of psychological and creative development of a student vocalist progressing from the elementary “pleasantly unpleasant” to the professional superbly talented. The conditions under which a feeling of pleasure from learning to sing appears, as well as methods and ways to help fulfill these conditions in practice, are highlighted. The concept of “hedonic standard” and ways to ensure a psychological sense of learning success are considered.
