Abstract

This paper is dedicated to the methodological foundations and objectives of the "Media Art" discipline in preparing future designers for professional activities in the digital era. The primary goal of the course is to equip students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for creating high-quality video and animation materials that meet the contemporary demands of digital art. The article explores the main methods, approaches, and objectives of the discipline, which contribute to developing competencies in working with media content and social networks. Special attention is given to the use of modern information and communication technologies, such as computer graphics, video art, interactive installations, and multimedia technologies. The theoretical foundation of the discipline includes philosophical concepts of postmodernism, enabling students to integrate new aesthetic and conceptual approaches into their professional activities.
