Abstract

The article identifies the scientific principles that constitute the methodology of forming the professional skills of future vocal teachers in the process of professional training in higher education institutions. The author analyses the latest publications on this issue and identifies its insufficient research in modern science, which requires careful study and substantiation. The paper specifies the concepts of ‘pedagogy methodology’ and ‘principle’. The importance of methodological approaches in the formation of professional skills of future vocal teachers in higher education institutions is revealed. A number of principles are proposed to form the professional skills of future vocal teachers in the process of professional training, namely: system-synergetic, informational, axiological, acmeological, competence approaches. An analysis of each of them has been made, which allowed to identify important conceptual positions for solving the problem of forming the professional skills of future vocal teachers in the process of their professional training in higher education institutions. The author emphasises that the system-synergetic approach as a methodological mechanism makes it possible to study the professional and professional skills of future vocal teachers as an open system characterised by integrity, self-enrichment and self-development of its structural components, indicators of their manifestations, functional features, stages and dynamics of development. The information approach in educational activities in higher education is based on the use of new information technologies of education and is carried out through the use of artificial intelligence systems, expert learning systems in order to improve teaching technologies and expand the pedagogical capabilities of didactic systems. It is emphasised that the implementation of the axiological approach in the educational vocal and pedagogical activities of future music teachers is possible due to the following principles: creative interaction between teacher and student; interpersonal and artistic communication; self-actualisation; conscious experience of the emotional and aesthetic process, etc. According to the author, the competence-based approach implies that the music-pedagogical process in higher education is aimed at the formation and development of general and subject (professional) competences, as well as at the personal orientation of future vocal teachers towards the identification of values and meanings of the profession. The article reveals the general and specific professional competences that should be formed in future vocal performers in the process of professional training in higher education institutions.
