Abstract

The article deals with the process of forming methodological competence as an important component of the professional training of future teachers of art schools. The research on the problem of forming methodological competence of university students is analyzed. The essence of the concept of «methodological competence of future art school teachers» as a complex personal formation that combines knowledge, experience and awareness in the application of methods of scientific knowledge and transformation of reality for the effective and successful implementation of scientific research, design, methodological, organizational, pedagogical, creative activities, based on general scientific theories, concepts, principles, approaches and regularities is defined. The structure and content of the discipline «Fundamentals of Scientific Research» for students of the first bachelor’s degree of higher education in the specialty 025 «Musical Art» of the educational and professional program «Solo Singing» of the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University. It is noted that the training course is aimed at developing independent and critical thinking in students, improving professional and creative qualities and the ability to carry out innovative activities, realizing scientific and creative potential. The article analyzes the effectiveness of using an e-learning course created for the discipline as an important tool for organizing and implementing the educational process in a blended learning environment. It is found that effective means of the e-learning environment are the use of multimedia materials; video lectures, presentations, etc.; creation of interactive materials: online tests, questionnaires, quizzes; creation of discussion forums; access to online libraries and databases. It is summarized that the use of an e-learning course in the context of blended learning in higher education institutions is aimed at improving the quality of educational and methodological support of the educational process and stimulating students to more effectively master the educational material and more actively communicate with the teacher and classmates. The methods and techniques of forming the methodological competence of future art school teachers and the pedagogical conditions for their implementation require further research.
