Modern methods and strategies for promoting the effective involvement of displaced children in education are investigated. The experience of educational institutions successfully implementing adaptation programs for displaced children is studied. The psychological and pedagogical aspects of supporting children in the adaptation process are analyzed. The article highlights the main factors that positively affect the adaptation and development of children in the new environment and analyses the possibilities for further improvement of these methods. It is found that in modern realities, when many people are forced to change their place of residence due to war, the issue of adaptation of Ukrainian children to new schools is becoming extremely important. It is especially important to use socio-emotional learning and mentoring, which facilitates social adaptation. Particular attention is paid to the role of teachers and psychologists in the process of socio-cultural integration of schoolchildren and the need to improve their skills in working with children who have faced stress. The study highlights the importance of technology in education, especially through online resources and interactive materials that facilitate learning in blended or remote formats. The findings of this study may be useful for the development of future strategies for the development of education in Ukraine and globally, as well as for teachers, social workers, educational institutions, and government agencies involved in the adaptation of displaced children.
